Greenland Wireless

Abdulrazak Hussein is probably most experienced businessman among Somalis in Seattle area. Green Land is one of his latest attempt to diversify his businesses. He used to own the International Market, the Somali grocery and deli before he moved to the wireless business where he felt was very much in need because the Somali community lack the necessary skills to communicate with big wireless companies.

Abdulrazak was born and raised in Las Anod town of northern Somalia. He belonged to an entrepreneurial family. He owned business in Somalia trading between Dubai and Somalia. He has been in the US since 1999. He was educated in business management. His clients are mostly Somalis who are not capable of dealing with customer service system in this country bacause of not having enough of English language skills that is necessary in dealing with such companies.

Abdulrazak helps the community pay their bills at his business and help them mediate between them and the business he is an agent for. His dreams of doing business do not stop there. He is a man of plenty of business ideas. He is thinking of a new grocery which probably would be the most biggest of its kind along MLK Jr. Way South. Many members of the community look up to him for new business ideas and they are expecting from him always to come up something that impressive and would surpass his previous attempts.
